Suzanne Pleshette

SuzanneSuzanne Pleshette (January 31, 1937 - - January 19th 2008) was an American theatre, film television, and voice actress. Pleshette started her stage career and appeared in films in late 1950s. Then, she became an important actress in films like Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (633) and Spirited Away (11). Later, she appeared in numerous television shows and was frequently acting as a guest. She played Emily Hartley in The Bob Newhart Show, 1972-1978 which earned her numerous Emmy Award nominations. Pleshette was born on the 31st of January 1937, in the New York City neighborhood of Brooklyn Heights, to Geraldine (nee Kaplan)[1 and Eugene Pleshette. Her parents were Jewish immigrants from Russia and Austria-Hungary. Her mother was a dancer, artist , and choreographer, who performed under the stage name of Geraldine Rivers. Her father was the stage director of the Paramount Theater in Manhattan as well as the Paramount Theater in Brooklyn,
