Anamaria Marinca bio
Anamaria Marina is a Romanian actress. She made her screen debut in Sex Traffic, a Channel 4 film Sex Traffic in which she was awarded the British Academy Television Award for Best Actress. French, German English fluently. Her mother played the violin, Her father is a theatre professor at one of Romania's best drama schools. In the Mangalia Gala of Young Actors, she won the Best Female Actor Award 2000. In 2008 she was named a European Shooting Star' by the European Film Promotion Board. The film won her many awards such as the European Film Award Best Actress for London Film Critics. In 2007, she was in on the Romanian film 4 luni 3 saptamani si2 (4 Months, 3 Weeks 3 Weeks, 3 Weeks, 2 Days) 4 months 3 weeks 2 days, directed composed by Cristian Mungiu (4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days). The film won two prizes at the Cannes Film Festival (the Cinema Prize of the French National Education System & the FIPRESCI Prize). Youth Without Youth, a Francis Ford Coppola movie, was also part of her career. In 2008 she appeared as Yasim anwar, a character from the BBC Five-episode miniseries The Last Enemy. Marinca was a part of Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven as also in the Romanian Drama Boogie. She later played the role of Irma's German Aunt in Fury the film, which came out in 2014.
